Like they say not to smoke a cigar till the fat lady sings, i learned today not to open a beer can when there is 3 more laps to go in a F1 race.

Massa's engine blows and Kimi had to slow down i guess from a certain 2nd place on podium. Despite all that, i am still happy because the championship title is still open and Kimi can still DO IT!!!

Oh yeah, i did finish the beer.

Hancock and Hell Boy 2

Got all the time yesterday, made a trip to TGV with my wife and watched Hancock at 7.20 pm and later Hell Boy 2 at 9.20 pm. We use to do it always, even way back when we were studying in Singapore, watch 2 movies in a row...we did 3 once :D

Both movies are cool, and was amazed with all the special FX.

Now just after DSAI was released on police bail, now we hear that Raja Petra has been arrested and charged for defaming DPM's wife and few others.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 16, 2008 3:30 PM

This afternoon at 1:05 PM Anwar Ibrahim, former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, was arrested outside of his home in Kuala Lumpur. He was due to issue a statement at IPK KL (Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent Headquarters) at 2:00 PM based on an agreement reached with the police on Tuesday.

Anwar Ibrahim was returning from the Anti Corruption Agency to his home after giving a statement pertaining to the police report that has been filed regarding suppression of material facts in the case involving him in 1998. He was accompanied by his senior legal team, staff, and security.

As he entered the neighborhood of his home, a contingent of ten police cars, half unmarked and half patrol, forced the two cars in Anwar Ibrahim’s entourage to stop. There was a contingent of 20 balaklava-clad masked commandos (UTK) who accosted him, reminiscent of the forces sent to arrest Anwar Ibrahim at his home in September 1998.

An officer approached Anwar Ibrahim and demanded that he accompany the police in an unmarked vehicle to the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent Headquarters. His lawyers were not permitted to travel with him to the police station.

This arrest has taken place less than fifteen hours after Anwar Ibrahim appeared live on Malaysian television for the first time since 1998, and announced to millions of viewers his intention to stand for election, and upon the formation of a new government, to lower the domestic price of fuel by 50 sen. The overwhelming majority of Malaysians expressed their support of his televised statement.

These events are deeply disturbing to us and indicate that this entire episode is a repeat of the actions taken against Anwar Ibrahim in 1998. During the last few weeks the government owned mainstream media has demonized and vilified him. His staff has been harassed and we see a conspiracy being hatched to thwart the political change that is imminent in Malaysia.

Under no circumstances will the people of Malaysia and the international community tolerate any harm coming to Anwar Ibrahim. We remind Prime Minister Abdullah Badawi of the promise he made to ensure Anwar Ibrahim’s protection.

We have been able to communicate with Anwar Ibrahim, who calls upon his supporters and the people of Malaysia to remain calm and to reject any attempts at provocation, which will give a pretext for an emergency situation to be declared.

Dissappointed with Fuel price debate between Dumb A** and DSAI

Geeezz, the debate was like 10 or 20 mins, and the rest was just f**kin advertisements!!!

The Information Minister was not bothered about the Fuel price topic but rather attacking DSAI on his personal issues. I think the gov let Shabery out first to test water, and see the points and arguments by DSAI, later they will hire an adviser from overseas just to advice them on how to go about defeating DSAI's points. And spend millions along the way too!!!.

At least it's better than watching WWE!!!! :D ( No hard feelings WWE Fans )

DFTM Blog post went missing mysteriously!!!

If you have been visiting our Deputy Federal Territory Minister, Datuk M.Saravanan's Blog, you might have seen a post titled "Yes, I Walked Out" one day after the MIC President's dinner. Today, just noticed the post mysteriously disappeared. Hmmm, wonder why???

His reasons were that it had ruffled a few feathers and was advised to remove it. By who? You guys know i think.... What seems to be a surprise is that on that "Yes, I walked Out" post he said

"I know I will earn the wrath of the president for my act last night, but I stand by it. I may lose all positions I have now, but it just does not matter as it is a matter of pride and principle. Keep u guys posted on the latest."

I feel, even if Ronaldo joins Real Madrid , Manchester United will still be the Champions. Maybe without Sir Alex Ferguson, there will be a problem but not no so critical until they finish at the bottom half of the league. Man Utd bidding for Berbetov now, let's see where this goes, just one month and 4 days to go for Man U's first game.

Channel the money and resource to our schools.

Was discussing this over lunch, SLC - The Plan is coming out with ways to help the indian schools to get proper chairs and tables but MIC wants to rebrand and give out privilege and discount card to members!!!

Hopefully The Plan don't get intervened by MIC or so called Politicians.

Is it legal to collect donations like this ?

Few days ago, just saw a post in facebook about MIC coming out with a privilege card for its members. The reason being, appreciation to members for their sacrifice and loyalty. WTF????. Is it really needed ? Is it part of the 300 mil plan?

MIC logo serving as an attraction for more people to join ? Really ?. Can somebody please advice this guy!!!. Did they really do a detail study on this, why not have a poll on their website and see what the indians or the visitor has to say. Cmonn.

The amount of money to spend to run the whole card dept, administrative costs and so on. Where is it going to come from ? I don't think MIC has the expertise to run this, so the only option is to outsource. There won't be any open tender only the crony company gets the deal!!!.

What next??? Members will get 10 points if they introduce someone to join MIC ? and after accumulating 100 points, get a free haircut?
